The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Thursday, Jan. 17 to Saturday, Jan. 19:

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on charges of resisting arrest and search, retaliation - assault with bodily injury to a public servant and failure to stop and give information, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 37-year-old male lives in Houston.

A Houston man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana Jan. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 18, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 19 and is facing a felony charge. He resides in Briargrove.

A Houston man is facing a state felony charge of theft under $1500 third offense after being arrested on Jan. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 30, resides in Briargrove. He was booked Jan. 19.

A man was arrested on a charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon Jan. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 31-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 19 and is facing a class A misdemeanor charge. He resides on South Kirkwood.

A Houston man is facing a class B misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated first offense blood alcohol concentration .08 after being arrested Jan. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 23, resides on Memorial Drive. He was booked Jan. 18.

A Houston man was arrested and charged with fugitive Jan. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 24, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 18 and is facing a felony charge. He resides on Antoine Drive.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class C misdemeanor charge of continuing violation of obligation by child now, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 19-year-old male lives in Houston.

A woman was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class B misdemeanor charge of theft between $50 and $500, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 18-year-old female lives in Houston.
