St. Timothy's Anglican Church preparing for spring

As a dynamic Christian community in Spring, St. Timothy's Anglican Church (STAC), is excited to invite everyone to sign up for spring Growth Groups.

"We have lots of great offerings this semester and interested parties can sign up on-line on our website," Tracy Pegues, of St. Timothy's Anglican Church, said.

The Growth Groups is a basic unit of St. Timothy's, much like an organic cell is the basic unit of a human body. Thus, Growth Groups are not going to be treated as "one program among many," but as a necessary part of STAC. Four key items will make up the DNA of a Growth Group: worship, edification, fellowship, and discipleship. Simply put, the group wants to connect members of the parish family - new or old - to the "Body of Christ."

"Through this community, we can have a more meaningful experience and be involved in something that is not only bigger than ourselves, but is enduring," Pegues added. "The goal is to give everyone a chance to learn, laugh, and love while we continue to make Him known to others."

Growth Groups are small groups made up of 15 to 20 people who want to grow spiritually and connect with others at STAC. In a Growth Group, one will have a chance to meet with new people or old friends, find encouragement, grow a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and have fun together. If someone is interested, but is not a member of St. Timothy's, they are still encouraged to join a growth group.

St. Timothy's met for the first time in the cafeteria of Tomball Jr. High on Sunday, April 20, 2008. It was an amazing Spirit filled day with more than 500 people joining together for the first service. On Christmas Eve 2008 they moved to permanent home.
