Aerobifit Fitness in Houston Features New Fitness Classes

Just in time after the holiday season and before the start of the summer season, Aerobifit Fitness, West Houston's popular spot for personal training fitness classes and Pilates, is growing and adding more fitness classes.

Aerobifit Fitness has added another barre class to the schedule. In addition to cardio sculpt and Power Barre, the studio has added Long and Lean Barre to help participants achieve a slim, strong, sculpted body with no pounding, bouncing or jarring. The new class takes place on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. and space is limited. Participants must register online for classes.

The class combines the muscle-shaping principles of isometrics, the body-elongating practice of dance conditioning, the science of physical therapy and the intense pace of interval training.

While some barre workouts will contain a cardio component, not all programs will elevate the heart rate or burn a ton of calories. Aerobifit Fitness' Long and Lean Barre routine is more about muscle toning--lots of reps of small, pulsing movements, targeting core and major muscle groups, with emphasis on breathing, form and alignment.

Aerobifit Fitness' boutique is open for business during the studio hours and welcomes new visitors. The fitness studio is also adding several new product lines to its already versatile assortment of fun apparel and accessories.

"Our newest collections include Pouchee purse organizers, Two's Company purse mirrors and Violight sonic toothbrushes - perfect for travel, Mother's Day and teachers gifts. In addition to Zone Perfect nutrition bars, we are now carrying PowerCrunch energy bars, and back by popular demand, BIG BUDDHA purses!" Susan Magee of Aerobifit Fitness said.

In addition to new classes and products, Aerobifit Fitness is featuring a Valentine's special that includes free Pilates reformer classes every Monday at 6:30 p.m. during February. Participants must register online for classes. Space is limited and classes are filling fast!
