Westbury Christian grad Okde scores 9 points in Louisiana loss
Westbury Christian High School graduate Sylvana Okde scored nine points in University of Louisiana at Lafayette's 53-39 loss to conference rival University of South Alabama on Feb. 13, according to Louisiana's website.
The freshman guard also recorded four rebounds and one assist for the Ragin' Cajuns who are 7-17 on the season and 1-14 in the Sun Belt Conference.
Louisiana's next game is 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at home against Florida Atlantic University.
Okde is a 2012 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where she was named first team All-District in her senior, junior and sophomore seasons. Okde was selected as the district MVP as a senior, and named second team All-District in her freshman year. Okde is from Houston.
