Grace School celebrates 100 days
Grace School celebrated the 100th day of school Feb. 1.
"Throughout the 100th day, different classes created developmental centers designed to celebrate the milestone and reinforce learning. Some students used dot paints to create patterns of 100 spots of color while others made structures using 100 building blocks, completed 100 push-ups, ate 100 Goldfish (as a class), created musical instruments and enjoyed counting games in both English and Spanish. Students from second through fifth grade marked the occasion with crafts, challenges, stories and snacks. Pre-k, kindergarten and first grade concluded the day with a parade in honor of the 100th day and wore handmade T-shirts adored with 100 items, colored crowns and maracas filled with 100 beans," according to a school press release.
Grace School is at 10219 Ella Lee Lane, Memorial.
