Second Baptist grad Person plays in Case Western loss
Second Baptist graduate Julien Person scored nine points as Case Western Reserve University lost 106-87 to conference rival Emory on Friday, Feb. 15 at Woodruff PE Center in Atlanta, the Case Western website reported.
Person also recorded two rebounds and an assist for the Spartans, who are 11-2 on the season and 4-8 in conference.
Case Western's next game is noon Sunday, Feb. 17 at the University of Rochester (N.Y.).
Person is a sophomore guard for Case Western Reserve University. He is a 2011 magna cum laude graduate of Second Baptist High School in Houston, where he was named to the all-state tournament team and all-district second team, and a National Honor Society member. The management major is the son of Christophe and Beatrice Person of Houston.
