Westbury Christian grad Sumbry plays in Incarnate Word loss
Westbury Christian High School graduate Hasani Sumbry scored two points for the University of the Incarnate Word in its 77-71 loss to conference rival Tarleton State University on Saturday, Feb. 16 at Wisdom Gym in Stephenville, the Incarnate Word's website reported.
Sumbry and the Cardinals are 12-10 on the season and 8-6 in the Lone Star Conference.
The next game for Incarnate Word is 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at West Texas A&M University.
Hasani Sumbry is a sophomore center for the University of the Incarnate Word. He is a 2011 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston. In 2011, as a senior, Hasani was an All-District performer and of the team. He is an engineering management major from Houston, and is the son of Nate and Lisa Sumbry.
