Westbury Christian grad Turk contributes to Loyola victory
Westbury Christian High School graduate Devon Turk scored 10 points to help in Loyola University's 69-60 win at home over conference rival University of Illinois at Chicago on Saturday, Feb. 16 at Gentile Arena in Chicago, Loyola's website reported.
The freshman guard also recorded four rebounds and one assist for the Ramblers, who improved to 14-12 on the season and 4-9 in the Horizon League.
Loyola's next game is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 at home against Valparaiso University.
Devon Turk is a 2012 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where he was considered one of the top shooters from the Houston area.
