Westbury Christian grad Orrange scores 9 points in Stanford victory

Westbury Christian High School graduate Amber Orrange scored nine points in Stanford University's 68-57 win over conference rival UCLA on Feb. 17, according to Stanford's website.

The sophomore guard also recorded six rebounds, seven assists and five steals for the Cardinal who improved to 24-2 on the season and 13-1 in the PAC-12.

Stanford's next game is 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 at home against Oregon State.

Orrange is a 2011 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where she was named to the Parade High School All-America Team in 2011. Orrange was also a 2011 MaxPreps All-American and 2011 McDonald's High School All-American. She was also named an All-Greater Houston Player of the Year and to the All-Greater Houston First Team by the Houston Chronicle in 2011. Orrange is from Houston.
