Clickgrafx Creative wins award from U.S. Chamber

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recently named Clickgrafx Creative of Houston as a Blue Ribbon Award winner for small businesses.

According to a U.S. Chamber press release, the company received the award for its dedication to free enterprise and for contributions to restoring jobs and prosperity.

"The Blue Ribbon Award winners show that, even facing uncertainty and economic challenges, small businesses can grow and succeed," said Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber, in the press release. "They are America's economic engine, driving growth and job creation all across this country."

The awards program is sponsored by Sam's Club and honors companies demonstrating excellent business practices in several areas, including strategy, employee development, community involvement, and customer service.

This year's 100 Blue Ribbon winners were selected from applicants throughout the United States and will be honored at the America's Small Business Summit 2013 to be held in Washington, D.C. from Monday, April 29 through Wednesday, May 1.

Seven of these winners will become award finalists, and one will be named the DREAM BIG Small Business of the Year. The final winner will be awarded $10,000 by the U.S. Chamber.

Blue Ribbon business are also eligible for the Community Excellence Award, which will be decided by online voting by the public at www.uschambersummit.com through Friday, Feb. 22.
