Westbury Christian grad Turk plays in Loyola loss
Westbury Christian High School graduate Devon Turk scored 12 points for Loyola University in its 85-76 home loss to conference rival Valparaiso on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Gentile Arena in Chicago, the Loyola website reported.
Turk also recorded two rebounds, one assist and one steal for the Ramblers, who are 14-13 on the season and 4-10 in conference.
Loyola's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at home against Kent State.
Devon Turk is a freshman guard for Loyola University. He is a 2012 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where he was considered one of the top shooters from the Houston area.
