Memorial Hermann wins Pillar Award

The Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital won the Pillar Award from the Houston West Chamber of Commerce at the Economic Development Summit and Star Awards luncheon held Friday, Feb. 8 at the Omni Houston Westside Hotel.
According to a press release, "The Pillar Award is not given every year, but when it is given it goes to a business or organization that stands head and shoulders above the rest in its support of and dedication to improving West Houston. The 2013 Pillar Award Winner has carved out a unique profile on the West Houston skyline and has been delivering quality health care to area families since 1971."
Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital is home to an advanced cardiovascular care facility, the Ironman Sports Medicine Institute, Sleep Center, Wound Care Center, Digestive Health Center and Imaging Center.
