Westbury Christian grad Orrange scores 12 points in Stanford victory
Westbury Christian High School graduate Amber Orrange scored 12 points in Stanford University's 74-50 home win over conference rival the University of Oregon on Feb. 24, according to Stanford's website.
The sophomore guard also recorded one rebound, four assists, one steal and one block for the Cardinal who improved to 26-2 on the season and 15-1 in the PAC-12.
Stanford's next game is 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 on the road against the University of Washington.
Amber Orrange is a 2011 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where she was named to the Parade High School all-America team in 2011. Orrange was also a 2011 MaxPreps All-American and 2011 McDonald's High School All-American. She was also named an all-greater Houston player of the year and to the all-greater Houston first team by the Houston Chronicle in 2011. Orrange is from Houston.
