Westbury Christian grad Turk plays in Loyola loss
Westbury Christian High School graduate Devon Turk scored 12 points, but Loyola University lost 76-75 to conference rival University of Detroit Mercy on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Calihan Hall in Detroit, the Loyola website reported.
Turk also recorded three rebounds for the Ramblers, who are 14-15 on the season and 4-11 in the Horizon League.
Loyola's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at home against Cleveland State University.
Devon Turk is a freshman guard for Loyola University. He is a 2012 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where he was considered one of the top shooters from the Houston area.
