Adair Kitchen launches AK Juice Bar in Houston

The AK Juice Bar is now offering Kalelujah, Think Pink, Just Beet It, Ginger Spice, Mahalapeno and Kitchen Sinkat its Houston location.

Adair Kitchen of Houston announced the launch of its new juice bar, which will feature six nutritious juice creations.

According to a company press release, the new offerings became available to customers Monday, Feb. 25 and include the Kalelujah, Think Pink, Just Beet It, Ginger Spice, Mahalapeno and Kitchen Sink.

"Adding a Juice Bar to Adair Kitchen is a natural progression toward what we want Adair Kitchen to be, a place where diners can find simple favorites, morning, noon and night," said Katie Adair Barnhart, cofounder of Adair Kitchen, in the press release. "Juicing provides a big nutritional bang of vital nutrients and enzymes in a fast and easy way. As with everything we serve, our juices are made with only the freshest and highest quality ingredients."

The Kalelujah will feature kale, spinach, celery, apple, pear, lemon and ginger and is considered a toxin flusher.

Just Beet It will be made of juice from beets, carrots, apples, kale and parsley as an energy boost drink.

Ginger Spice has spinach, carrot, green apple, celery, ginger and lemon and is an anti-inflammatory refreshment.

Mahalapeno is a spicey drink with kale, cucumber, pineapple and jalapeno for hydration and digestion.

Offered as a skin rejuvenator, Kitchen Sink includes sweet potato, carrot, red bell pepper, beets, golden apple and orange.

Think Pink is being offered as an immunity kickstart and will be made from beets, pineapples, strawberries, grapefruit, ginger and lime.

According to the press release, juicing helps absorb vitamins and nutrients fast and promotes disease prevention. The cost for the 16-ounce servings is $8, and they are available at Adair Kitchen, at 5161 San Felipe, Suite 390, Houston.
